ROUND UP YOUR GIRLFRIENDS AND JOIN US to REINVIGORATE YOUR SPIRIT IN
THE SHENANDOAH VALLEY!
Hosted By
Heather VanderMyde of Duck Yoga, NC. 200-hour RYT
Heather
studied Interdisciplinary Yoga in Nosara Costa Rica with Don & Amba
Stapleton, and is supplemented by a strong foundation in Pilates,
Hatha, and Ashtanga Yoga. She teaches from a place of compassion
and support. Yoga is a way to live life. It opens your soul up to light
and purges the dark! Helping people love themselves has been the most
rewarding experience. She is learning and teaching others how to
get there one moment at a time. www.duckyoga.com
Special Guest
Lecturer
Vernon Sylvest, MD.
Dr.
Sylvest will guide a discussion on the energy eld of the body and its
energy centers (Chakras), including how the Chakras relate to the
mental-emotional experience of the individual. Yoga is a
particularly useful form of meditation for, with proper intent, it
stimulates and helps "open up" the Chakras thus facilitating healing
and maintaining good health. Dr. Sylvest has been practicing pathology
in the Richmond area for 30 years. His first book, The Formula: Who
Gets Sick, Who Gets Well; Who is Unhappy; Who is Happy and Why, published in 1996, is in its third
printing. Work on his second book, The End of Fear, is in progress. Interest in his
work has led to lecture tours across the country and abroad.
